From an energetic, vibrational perspective when you feel grateful you feel the 'highest' form of emotional frequency so you feel great and uplifted. It is an instant switch that you can use in any moment in any situation when you catch yourself not feeling good. Simply ask yourself the question:
"What am I grateful right now? What can I bring my attention to that makes me feel grateful in the here and now?"
And I tell you a secret you will always find something to be grateful for. It is impossible that there is nothing that you can feel grateful about no matter how hard a situation seems.
When you feel grateful you can't feel 'bad' at the same time.
So do youself a favour, get 'high' on gratitude whenever you feel down.
Write a gratitude journal!
Every night before you go to bed write down at least 3 things that you are grateful for that day in your gratitude journal. when you feel 'down' read jour journal back and count your blessings, this will immediately will uplift your mood.

Gratitude is the greatest shortcut to creating and attracting what you want in life. Gratitude raises your frequency and vibration to the highest levels of love and joy. It also tells the Universe what you want: "Yes, thank you, more of this". Gratitude is the fastest way to shift and transmute energy, and to transcend negative emotions.
